This pretty single fronted Victorian was about to receive a 25sqm rear extension. Bought in at plan approval stage, this client asked me to develop a design concept which led into selecting all hard surface finishes and soft furnishings. The design inspiration for this concept started with the decorative bathroom floor tiles. Embracing the Victorian heritage of pretty decorative details and blending them into a modern ethos. All selections were about generating a feeling of lightness and warmth and repeating the finishes so the space felt harmonised and balanced.
